Family Traditions

  My family tradition is when we go to church on Christmas eve.  The church plays Silent night with the lights dim and everybody sings.  We do this every year because when my parents were younger the went to church on Christmas and it was the same church that we still go to.  We like to go to church on Christmas eve because it gets us in the mood for Christmas and they talk about the meaning of Christmas and it gets me excited for Christmas to come the next day.  We also know all the people at the church so we feel like family on Christmas eve with all of our church friends.  This is why I like my family tradition!

Interesting Facts About ME!!

              Something that's interesting about me is I started dancing when I was three years old.  So far I have done Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, and Hawaiian.  I am in the Dance Troup and next year I will be dancing in the Christmas parade at Walt Disney World I am so excited.  Another interesting fact about me is I know how to paint and draw cartoon characters, my favorite one to draw is Mickey Mouse.  One last thing that's interesting about me is i know how to play the flute very good, next year hopefully we will go to Six Flags with the band I am also excited about that. 

Holiday Traditions

                           Christmas is my favorite holiday in the year!  The week before my family and I put up the Christmas tree together, when were done my mom and I decorate the tree with many ornaments.  When Christmas eve comes around we go and see my grandma and grandpa in Pennsyivania.  My brother and I get lots of presents and money.  On Christmas day I wake up at 6:00 a.m. and open my presents.  Christmas is a long day for me!

Personal Narrative" Going to Disney World"

     "BOOM, BOOM," I hear slamming at 4:00am.  I jump out of bed and see my mom pushing suitcases down the stairs.  "What are you  doing!" I exclaimed.  "We're going to Disney World!  Hurry up pack your bags and get dressed quickly, Michael and dad are waiting in the cab."  I jumped up and down with joy and ran into my room to get dressed.  Throwing on random clothes, I ran downstairs, grabbed shoes and went scrambling into the cab.  We were driving to the airport, I was so excited.

     When we got to the airport we went inside and saw tons of people crowding up everywhere.  We put our luggage on the machine.  We headed off to our gate number.  Finally, our plane was called.  We got onto our plane and I fell right to sleep.  Before I knew it I was in my hotel room!  "Wow, I slept all that time," I said.  We got on the hotel bus and went to Magic Kingdom!  My family and I went on all of the rides.
     
     The next day we were standing in front of the Epcot ball soaked with water.  We didn't get to go on all of the rides because of the rain.  We went inside the Epcot ball and there, right in front of me, I saw a ride, a gigantic ride, a ride I had to go on. 

     The ride was about how the world has changed over time.  It started with the cavemen and went to the future from now.  This ride helped me learn about how the world used to be.  It showed how things were also invented and it showed how people were like animals back then and how they are intelligent now.  Soon we'll be going home.  Whenever my family leaves Disney I always cry, whine and scream when we leave the hotel. 

     We went to Magic Kingdom one last time before we left.  After we all went back to the hotel.  Tears were rolling down my face while I started to pack my bags.  Just thinking about leaving Disney was upsetting.  I will never forget the day we left Disney.  Our taxi came to pick up up at the Disney Hotel and brought us to the airport.  I slept the whole ride home just thinking about our trip to Walt Disney World.

Are You Proud Of Your Country?

     Everybody should be proud of their country, because people risk their lives to keep us safe.  U.S.A citizens should be proud of our country because were lucky that we can be American and live in America.  Also people in other countries cannot come to America so we're lucky to be American.  Almost one hundred people in the U.S Army died to save America.  American soliders are very brave and strong.  Their families don't want them to go cause their scared that they'll never come back.  The U.S.A has freedom.  In other countries there is no freedom so were lucky to be here right at this moment.  The U.S.A is a strong and proud country.  Everybody in the United States should be very proud.  All different nationalities that live in the United States are very lucky.  In other countrys food and water can sometimes be hard to find.  InAmerica there is plenty of food and water and everything you can possibly think of for everyone.  I am proud to be part of a country that makes sure that everybody has food and shelter availible for them.  In Africa some Africans are slaves and get killed.  In America there are no slaves.  I am proud to be part of a country where I have a chance to make all my dreams come true. 

Crazy Halloween

           Every time Halloween comes around all the neighbors go trick-or-treating with eachother.  We all have scary costumes on and when we ring the doorbells the people get scared when they answer their doors.  When night come around our block is really scary and I'm part of scaring people!  I love Halloween because my neighbors are cool and I love Halloween CANDY!  For Haloween I'm going to be the mad hatter and at night im going to have a scary mask on to scare people.  This is why my Haloweens are so fun to me and my neighbors.

            Hi my name is Jessica Cristadoro, you can also call me Jess.  I live in Edison New Jersey I am the youngest in the family.  I have a dog named Brutus he's a pomeranian.  I also have a gecko who's name is Spunky he's 10 almost as old as me he is very boring he just sits in his cage and eats crickets.  I'm looking foward to having a good first year at middle school.
